Issue 2, the Roots issue, of the gorgeous and invaluable magazine Motherlore, which brings together writing on 'care, mothering, matrescence and mother nature', is now out! And I'm honoured to have a piece of poetic prose, But Also Flesh and Salt, featured in this issue.
But Also Flesh and Salt is an extract from the creative-writing part of my (still ongoing!) PhD study, which takes the form of a fragmented, poetic, life writing exploration of early motherhood. Originally published online in The Contemporary Journal, I'm thrilled that this piece now has a permanent home in print.
