I'm thrilled to have my piece, Failure: the Ghost and the Mother, published in the special issue of Alluvium Journal dedicated to papers presented at the biennial BACLS “What Happens Now?” Conference that took place in September 2021.
My piece outlines the themes of my current PhD study around parallels between the figure of the ghost and that of the mother in their inevitable 'failures' in the face of normative, patriarchal structures, and my aim to creatively/disruptively reclaim these 'failures'.
